Meanwhile, Lieutenant Raine and the Basterds are also planning an attack on the same premiere. They team up with Bridget von Hammersmark, a German actress and spy, to carry out their plan. However, their plan is complicated when one of their own, Private Butz, is recognized by a German soldier and killed.

At the premiere, Shosanna’s plan is put into action as she locks all the doors and sets the theater on fire, killing all the high-ranking Nazi officials including Hitler and Goebbels. The Basterds also carry out their plan and kill many Nazis, including Zoller.

In the chaos, Shosanna is killed by Landa, who had discovered her true identity and was seeking revenge for being outsmarted by her years ago. However, Landa is captured by the Basterds and brought to their leader, Raine.

In a tense standoff, Raine and Landa make a deal where Landa will surrender and reveal his knowledge of the location of other high-ranking Nazis in exchange for his freedom and a new identity in America. The Basterds agree and Landa is marked with a swastika on his forehead, forever branding him as a Nazi.

The movie ends with Raine carving a swastika into Landa’s forehead and the Basterds celebrating their victory over the Nazis.
